A candy-colored 3D run, made in one early Sonnet 5.5 chat

A 30-second multi-camera animation: a small blob character wakes up in a grey world, the scene floods with color, and a countdown sends it racing. The creator says one Sonnet 5.5 chat session made it.

What the original shows

A white, smiling blob sits on a pedestal in a grey 3D world of spheres and pillars. The world turns pink, yellow and green, a “GO!!” countdown appears, and the character races across checkerboard floors, cut between labelled camera angles. The creator writes that it came from a single Sonnet 5.5 chat session during early rollout.

Why it is interesting

Anthropic says Sonnet 5.5 has a sharp eye for design. A playful, coherent motion piece from a chat window is one early sign of that—far from proof, but a useful test idea for anyone who makes short social videos or game trailers.

What remains unverified

We do not know the prompt, how many attempts it took, how the video was rendered or whether it was edited afterwards. It came from a pre-release rollout, which may differ from the model you use today.
