About the post
A three-minute 3D film on the science and history that made the atomic bomb possible. The author says that, lacking a 3D library, it wrote its own renderer and produced 5,400 frames plus a soundtrack.

Our note
Titled "How the Bomb Became Possible" and subtitled "A 3D reconstruction", this history film runs through six numbered chapters: "The Atom" in Berlin, 1938; "The Chain Reaction", 1939; "The First Reactor" in Chicago, 1942, with Chicago Pile-1 as a lattice of stacked blocks; "Three Secret Cities", with a map of the United States and glowing sites at Oak Ridge and Hanford; "Two Designs"; and "Trinity", July 16, 1945, where a cloud rises over a desert. Captions name General Leslie Groves and Robert Oppenheimer. A closing card counts six and a half years and nearly 130,000 people. The home-made renderer is the author's account; no prompt was shared.
