About the post
A four-minute animated film on the next 150 years, from 1986 teachers protesting calculators to a 2176 child bored by fusion. The author says one prompt produced the script, animation and score.

Our note
It opens in Washington, D.C. in April 1986, with math teachers picketing over the pocket calculator, then steps through seven numbered past panics under large years: Socrates on writing in 370 BC, stamped "Feared"; Charles II closing coffeehouses in 1675; Luddites in 1812; a 1995 "The Internet? Bah!" headline, stamped "Dismissed". A curve names four chapters, "Wonder", "Fear", "Struggle" and "Ordinary", and puts AI in 2026 at chapter two. Five forecast eras follow, such as "The Strain" in 2057 and "The Reach", each with a hard part and a good part. It closes on "First, we fear it." No prompt was shared, and the one-prompt account is the author's.
