Mythos-class means capability and policy
Mythos-class was a capability signal in Anthropic's launch. Through the June suspension it also became a policy and access signal — and even now that Fable 5 is back, the two Mythos-class models reach very different audiences.

Do not infer that Fable 5 being back means Mythos 5 is public — it isn't. Mythos 5 remains limited to vetted US organizations, and restricted access can't be purchased through third-party sites.

Track official announcements about trusted access, safeguards, data retention, and Fable 5's pricing (in-plan on Max and Team Premium, on metered usage credits for Pro; Anthropic says a return to subscriptions will come as capacity allows).
