About the post

A boss fight against a character called Duke Decibel in a retro cartoon game style. The author says it was generated in one shot in under ten minutes.

Our summary. The author’s own words are in the post above; we do not copy them.

Our note

A boss fight on a red-curtained stage under a "Duke Decibel" marquee. The title card says "Inkwell Pictures presents", pitches it as a hand-drawn-in-code fight in the spirit of 1930s cartoons, and lists controls including a parry and an "EX blast". The player has a steaming coffee-cup head; the boss is a gramophone in a top hat that fires records and pink notes, its horn opening into a toothed mouth. Health drops from "HP 3" to "HP 0", ending on "You died!", a near-miss line and "41% of the way to a knockout". The setup closely follows Cuphead. The under-ten-minutes account is the author's; no prompt was shared.
